Wouldn’t it make better sense to start with a turboprop or
smaller airplanes for sale than to buy a small jet for our first purchase?

Not necessarily. We’ll examine your travel requirements and make some qualified suggestions as to what you should consider. Often, the number of people traveling and the typical length of flights will favor better operating economics of a jet versus
a turboprop. Likewise, if the greater majority of your flights are within a 300 mile

  range of your base, then a turboprop will probably be an area to further explore.

What should I expect to budget for a down payment,
and closing expenses on my purchase?

When buying
airplanes for sale the amount of owner equity paid in at closing on your aircraft purchase is typically around 20% of the purchase price, however in some cases, dependant upon the purchaser’s financial abilities, you may be qualified to finance 100% of the purchase. You should also budget an amount for pre-purchase mechanical and logbook inspections, which varies dependant upon the aircraft being purchased, and a small amount for escrow and title fees.

How much will it cost me to buy or sell
an aircraft in dealing with Mac?

The amount of fee paid to Mac will be less than you would otherwise incur through mistakes that are often made by those attempting to complete the complex transactions and pitfalls of aircraft acquisition or sale. Mac will work for you on a flat fee negotiated up front, and all our “earnings” will be disclosed to you, our valued customer. You won't be left guessing if you left money on table in the deal, we'll save you considerably more than you’ll pay in any fee, and we don’t over promise what can be done.

How experienced is Mac to help me sell or buy and aircraft?
Mac owns and operates its own fleet of aircraft and has owned, operated, and sold most major types of aircraft over the past years. Because Mac’s principals are type rated jet pilots, they can have specific knowledge that can be helpful in limiting mistakes that often occur in traditional sales driven organizations where the emphasis is on getting the transaction done without regard to the long term consequences or customer satisfaction.

Can I see the aircraft displayed on your
website in Atlanta at the Mac facilities?

Not necessarily. We do keep aircraft here in the Atlanta area, however we often are brokering aircraft that are located at the owner’s facility. We may be able to arrange the repositioning of the aircraft to a convenient location for your evaluation or demonstration, whether it’s the West Coast or Europe.

Can a small operation like Mac, get the
job done for me on a timely basis?

If you’re ready, we’re ready! We have specifically sized our operations to meet our objective of providing boutique level of personalized service. By our choice, we are not high volume transaction driven, with the corresponding overhead and distractions. We get results for our customers, treat people professionally and fairly. We are in contact with owners, dealers, brokers, sellers, and buyers on a worldwide basis, and research the details daily of all aircraft of particular interest for you, our customer. We know what’s available to buy, we know quality, and we know what the competition is for your aircraft if you’re selling.

What investigations or prequalification inspections
can be done before I buy an aircraft?

All aircraft should undergo some degree of pre-purchase inspection. We will assist you in the sale or purchase transaction by attending the pre-purchase inspection and using our best efforts to ensure that your interests are protected and proper protocol is observed. We’ll confirm that all airworthy discrepancies are addressed by the maintenance facility, and unnecessary delays, or unnecessary work doesn’t create a lingering problem or expense for you. We’ll provide a form of the contractual language that clearly outlines the obligations of each party, and then we’ll work to make it happen timely for you.

Can Mac offer any special after market warranty
with the aircraft it sells or customers it represents?

There are third party insurers that offer various engine and avionic “warranty” programs, and we can assist you in enrollment of those programs. We also make the promise that we’ll use our best efforts and experience to make you a satisfied customer and protect your interest in the transaction you’ve requested.
